It’s beginning to feel a little like Fall these days.  What a HOT summer we had.  Seems like we had 2 months with heat indexes over 100 degrees!

Although our daily temps are still almost 10 degree’s above average, 90 and lower humidity seems like Fall!

At Cedar Hill Enrichment Cener, they’re preparing to celebrate Autumn in several ways.

First, they’re holding their Seasonal Celebration on Sunday, September 19 from 3pm – 8:30pm.  All kinds of cool activities are planned.

On October 28 they’ll be kicking off their first FRESH GREEN MARKET along with their Fall Festival.

What is the Fresh Green Market? An all natural, local farmer’s market.  It will be held weekly beginning the Spring of 2011 in the parking lot of the TRACTOR SUPPLY COMPANY store on Hwy 53 in Dawsonville.  This Fall kick-off will feature a farmer’s market, food, festivities, live music and much more.  A great family time for all.

Garden of Empowerment in Forsyth County will hold A Woman’s Life Festival on October 23 at the events facility at Central Park in Cumming, GA.

There are already 59 vendors signed up for booths at the event.  Special demonstrations and speakers will be there as well.  Admission is FREE.   Meet vendors and sponsors on the event’s Facebook page.

What special things are you doing to celebrate Fall this year?
