Cedar Hill Enrichment Center

The Barn in early spring

Nestled in north Forsyth County, Cedar Hill Enrichment Center is the last of a large handful of non-profits founded by two Adrian Dominican nuns who moved to Forsyth County in the 1970′s to do poverty work in what was, at that time, one of the poorest communities in the country.

Cedar Hill is now the home to a community-based center that focuses on environmental health, wholeness and an engaged and empowered community.

Home to numerous organic community gardens, this former goat farm boasts a labyrinth and nature trails on it’s nearly 20 pristine acre’s.

Events, workshops and activities take place in ‘the barn’ – a converted goat barn that is the perfectly-simple and rustic setting for such popular events as Fried Green Fridays, sustainable practices workshops, yoga and meditation groups and more.

As a center of spirituality, (not affiliated with any religious or spiritual organization), and earth education, Cedar Hill welcomes all people from every relious/spiritual background to come together in unity.
